Berger & Berger Investigations Inc. (BBI) has been in business in the private sector since 1979.  Except for a short stint in the criminal investigation arena, we have been serving the the insurance community for all that time.

Joe Berger, partner and CEO and a licensed private investigator in the States of Washington and California, has had 17 years experience as a Los Angeles County Sheriff's detective, focusing on organized crime figures and their impact on cargo theft and maritime fraud, in the tri-county area of Southern California.

Mary June Berger, managing partner, was the business manager for the Colusa County Superintendent of Schools Office, for more than 10 years.  Mary June has been deeply immersed in marine investigation since joining the firm in 1986 and is also a licensed private investigator in the State of California.  Mary June specializes in sensitive P & I matters with potentially high dollar losses due to major medical or geriatric involved injuries.   Mary June also specializes in cargo claims auditing and loss history.
